Sir Tom Hunter, founder of The Kiltwalk, has opened up the event to all Scottish charities this year, enabling our supporters to take part in the event and raise money for Unite Against Cancer.

There are 4 Kiltwalk events in 2017 which will take place in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh.

If you would like to take part in the event in your area and represent Unite Against Cancer, please visit: http://www.thekiltwalk.co.uk/events and choose our charity when selecting which charity you are fundraising for.

There are three different distances that you can choose to do; The Mighty Stride which is 26 miles long, The Big Stroll which is 15.5 miles and the Wee Wander. If you have young children, we would highly recommend the Wee Wander which is 6miles long.

The Hunter Foundation has pledged to gross up all funds raised by 10%, so our charity will receive 110% of all money raised for us.

The Kiltwalk is a terrific day out for all of the family, and a great excuse to don our national dress. Have your Tartan at the ready for what will be a truly memorable day out!
