The University of Glasgow is set to become a key player in a Scottish “global centre of excellence” in precision medicine, tackling diseases such as cancer and multiple sclerosis, thanks to a £4 million government investment.‌‌ The government investment will help the University further enhance the resources that our Scholarship recipients have access to for their research.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced the investment on a visit to the University of Glasgow-led Stratified Medicine Scotland Innovation Centre (SMS-IC) at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
